Personal Biography

I grew up in Hudsonville and attended Hudsonville Christian and Unity Christian. I got married this past July and am loving being a newlywed. We currently live in Jenison and are still looking for a church home to call our own.

Professional Biography

I received my degree in early childhood education from GRCC. After graduating I worked at Cottonwood Christian Learning Center as the toddler room teacher and then moved to Hudsonville Christian in their childcare program as the lead teacher.

Teaching Philosophy

I went into early childhood education because of my love to work with children. It is always a heartwarming moment when the “light goes on”. My goal as a teacher is to show God’s love in all my actions and help children learn to do the same. I am very excited to be part of a community that strives to teach children about God in every aspect of life and also using the child’s God-given abilities to do so. I can’t wait to see how God will work in our room this school year!
