Educational Faculty Positions

Candidates should have a deep love for Jesus, an understanding of teaching from a Reformed worldview, and a passion for working with kids to equip them academically, spiritually, and socially to gratefully serve God in all aspects of life.  We are accepting cover letters and resumes for the following positions for the 2025-2026 school year:

ACS is looking to add qualified candidates as substitute teachers for current and future years, particularly for older grades (3–8) . If you are interested in being a guest teacher at ACS, have a background in education, and have a strong love for God and for kids, please email your resume to Brian Koetje, Head of School.

Support Staff Positions

Breakfast Position

  • 7–9 a.m.
  • 1–5 days/week available.  
  • Must be able to work independently and lift 60 lbs.

Lunch Position

  • 10:20 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
  • 1 to 2 days/week available
  • Preferred: to be able to lift 60 lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals.
  • Maintain and apply all safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards and practices in all food service areas as required by federal, state, local and district regulations and policies.
  • Operate production equipment and dishwashing equipment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Understand and determine qualified meals and qualified components of meals.
  • Meet and service the needs of clientele in a timely fashion and in a pleasant and appropriate manner.
  • Compile and maintain appropriate records and forms.

  • Meet strict deadlines.
  • Handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and basic math formulas.

  • Enjoy working with other people and being part of a team.
