Educational Faculty Positions

Candidates should have a deep love for Jesus, an understanding of teaching from a Reformed worldview, and a passion for working with kids to equip them academically, spiritually, and socially to gratefully serve God in all aspects of life.  We are accepting cover letters and resumes for the following positions for the 2025-2026 school year:

ACS is seeking candidates for a part-time K-8 Spanish teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This position is part of the shared-time program. Candidates should have a passion for teaching in a Christ-centered environment that is focused on equipping students academically to serve God in all aspects of life.

Candidates should

  • Have a deep love for, and personal relationship, with Jesus Christ.
  • Desire to support and promote Christian education.
  • Have a passion for working with kids to achieve the mission of Allendale Christian School.
  • Possess, or be a candidate for, a Michigan Teaching license, for Spanish or Elementary, All Subjects.
  • Possess the ability to clearly communicate, and maintain positive relationships, with different stakeholders.
Education Requirements
  • Must have a degree in education, or be near completion of a degree in Education.
  • Must hold, or be a candidate for, a Michigan Teaching License.
  • Certified in Spanish or Elementary, All Subjects.

ACS is looking to add qualified candidates as guest teachers for current and future years. If you are interested in being a guest teacher at ACS, have a background in education, and have a strong love for God and for kids, please email your resume to Brian Koetje, Head of School.

Support Staff Positions

This position is typically from 3-6 p.m., Monday–Friday, though the final number of days per week is TBD.  This is a great job for a high school student (age 17 is acceptable, but 18 is preferred), college-age student, or an adult looking for some part-time work. Please send your resume to Kelsey Post, Director of Early Childhood Programming.
