Educational Faculty Positions

Candidates should have a deep love for Jesus, an understanding of teaching from a Reformed worldview, and a passion for working with kids to equip them academically, spiritually, and socially to gratefully serve God in all aspects of life.  We are accepting cover letters and resumes for the following positions for the 2025-2026 school year:

Substitute / Guest Teachers

ACS is looking to add qualified candidates as guest teachers for current and future years. If you are interested in being a guest teacher at ACS, have a background in education, and have a strong love for God and for kids, please email your resume to Brian Koetje, Head of School.

Paraprofessional Positions

ACS is seeking candidates for multiple Paraeducator positions for the 2026-2027 school year. While educational experience is preferred, it is not required for every Para position. What is required is a love for the Lord and a passion for working with kids. Below are the main areas where we have needs:

Middle School Paraprofessional

Work under the supervision of the ESS Teacher and 5th-8th Grade classroom teachers to provide a variety of support. Support includes 

  • Entering the classroom to help individual students during specific class times
  • Working with small groups outside of class
     

Support Staff Positions

Hot Lunch Team Members

 

Breakfast Position

  • 7–9am.
  • 1–5 days/week available.  
  • Must be able to work independently and lift 60 lbs.

Lunch Position

  • 10:20am–2pm
  • 1 to 2 days/week available
  • Preferred: to be able to lift 60 lbs.

Help cover our lunchtime service, as needed, from 10:20am–2:30pm.

Substitute Bus Driver

We’re looking for substitute bus drivers.

After-school Child Care Assistants

We're looking to fill an after school need, starting this fall. This position is typically from 3-6 p.m., Monday–Friday, though the final number of days per week is TBD. We are searching for someone who is fun, loves children and loves the Lord. Candidates must be 17 years or older to apply.
