My deep hope is that we, as a community of believers, will find our identity in our great God
In 2003, I graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in elementary education and in teaching students with Cognitive Impairments. In more recent years, I earned my Master’s degree in teaching students with Learning Disabilities. I had the opportunity to teach in a K-12 resource room for 4 years at Calvin Christian School in Escondido, CA. After that, I treasured 3 sweet years teaching first graders here at ACS. It is currently my privilege to teach technology to students K-8.
My husband Joel and I live in Holland, MI. We have been married since June 2003 and are honored to be raising our three children. Prior to living in Holland, we spent four years living and teaching in southern California. Joel is currently teaching math at Black River Public School. I grew up in Holland, MI, where I had the privilege of attending Holland Christian School. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
