Rebecca Koning

Professional: I graduated in 2014 from Trinity Christian College with a B.A. in English Education and minor in History. I moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where I taught middle school Reading, Writing, History, and Bible for seven years. I am passionate about integrating biblical worldview with excellent education and I look forward to supporting the work of classroom teachers in doing this.

Personal: I grew up in Jenison, Michigan, attending Calvin Christian School, until I went away to college then moved to Wisconsin after college. I loved living in Wisconsin, but I am happy to be home in West Michigan once again. My husband, Kyle, and I met at Grace Adventures camp in Silver Lake, and we were married in 2015. Our daughter, Aly, was born in 2018, and I’m so excited for her to attend ACS. We are fans of the Michigan Wolverines, Green Bay Packers, and various movies and shows. 

Deep Hope: We will learn more about God, His world, and the people in it through various texts, activities, and discussions.
