My deep hope is that my students understand ALL people are God’s creation and He created us to be loved and to show love. I hope that my students accept God’s love entirely in their lives and actively show love to others through their thoughts, words, actions, and learning.
I am a proud alumna of Spring Arbor University; where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 2011. I joined the ACS teaching team in the fall of 2017 when I began teaching Kindergarten. Prior to ACS I taught 3rd grade, tuition preschool, and Great Start Readiness Program(GSRP) Preschool in varying districts around West Michigan.
My husband Adam and I married in September of 2016, and we welcomed our daughter Presley into the world in September of 2018! Adam and I both grew up in Hart, Michigan and majority of our family still lives in that area so we often travel “up” for weekends and special events. We moved to Allendale to be closer to my husband’s IT job at Meijer Corporate Headquarters. I enjoy traveling; both locally and internationally, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. We are members of Lighthouse Community Church here in Allendale.
