My deep hope is that we encounter God in His world, serve the Lord by engaging with others by seeing, knowing, and loving them as images of Christ, and endure courageously through our struggles and successes.
After graduating high school, I attended Calvin College where I graduated in December 2013. My major was in Elementary and Special Education with a concentration in integrated science. My goal is to inspire, engage, and equip children to become adults who have servant hearts working for God’s kingdom. I want to instill in children a desire to know God and to follow Christ as they live their lives. I consider it a gift to teach God’s children and to learn about God’s love with them. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach at ACS.
I am thankful to be part of the Allendale Christian School community as a 4th grade teacher. I grew up about an hour north of Grand Rapids in Lakeview, MI prior to moving to Kent County. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, camping, and being active.
