Fifth Grade Teacher
Groups: Elementary Teachers

My Deep Hope for my fifth graders is to know God's love for them and to show it to others. I want them to know the importance of being a light of Christ to further His kingdom.

I grew up in Grandville and graduated from there in 2016. I then attended Grand Valley State University with majors in Elementary Education and English. I graduated this past April after finishing my student teaching. This school year will be my first time as an actual teacher and I am so excited! I hope to show my students the love of Jesus Christ through my words and actions so that they may grow in their relationship with Him. I am very excited to get to know the staff, students, and community. My grandparents live in Allendale so I've grown up in the area. I look forward to the start of the school year and I’m thankful to be a part of ACS!

In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family at my cottage on Mona Lake in Norton Shores. Being by the water is my happy place! I love to travel to new places and learn about them. My favorite place I have been to is Guatemala, where I have gone twice for mission work. I saw God work in incredible ways and can't wait to hopefully go back next summer. I can't wait to see what God has in store for this school year!
