Deep Hope

My deep hope for you, first graders, is that you will bring the kingdom of heaven to earth by sharing God’s love and grace with others. I pray that when people look at you, they will see God, and that because of your love, they will seek to join his big story. 

Professional Biography

I graduated from Hope College in May 2018. There, I studied Elementary Education and English language arts. During my time at Hope, I also had the opportunity to lead science camps for kindergarten through second grade students through the Explore Hope program. I have also spent the past seven years teaching gymnastics classes at Flipside Gymnastics in Zeeland. For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt of becoming a teacher, so this is a very exciting next step for me!

Personal Biography

I am excited to be a part of the Allendale Christian school community! I grew up in Zeeland, Michigan with my parents and two younger sisters, and attended Zeeland and Holland Christian schools – so Christian schooling is very close to my heart. I am a member of Pillar Church in Holland Michigan, and I enjoy volunteering in their growing Children’s ministry program. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going outside, hiking, playing the piano, and baking.
